Services

At Monroe Animal Hospital, we provide a broad spectrum of veterinary and pet health-related services.

Wellness Exams

Today, our furry family members live longer, healthier lives. An annual trip to the vet can help them achieve a happier, more active life. Just as your physician recommends an annual exam with labwork, as well as preventive diagnostic procedures, we recommend the same for your pet.

We offer:

Physical exams, vaccinations, parasite evaluation and deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, socialization, behavior and nutrition counseling.

Radiology Services

Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders.

Surgical Services

Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. Each patient is monitered by an experienced veterinary technician in addition to the doctor during surgery and in recovery.

*Surgeries are performed on Mondays with Dr. Luckey and Wednesdays with Dr. Woods.

Laboratory

Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services

Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.

Pharmacy
We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet.

Mixed Breed Analysis Test

The most comprehensive DNA-based mixed breed test for dogs. This simple test will allow veterinarians to answer one of the most frequently asked questions by pet owners, "What is my dog's breed mix? "

Microchip Technology

Every day a beloved family pet is lost. Tragically, most never make it back home because their owners didn't identify them. The Microchip is the professional way to identify your pet and is proven safe and effective. The Microchip is so tiny that it fits through a hypodermic needle. Just like a vaccination, it is injected under the skin of your pet where it remains safely for life. The chip contains a personal identification number that distinguishes your pet as a special member of your family.

Behavioral Counseling
We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.

Dietary Counseling
We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
Hill's brand pet foods meet the highest standards in pet nutrition and are backed by years of research.
